Border hopping

Prague to Poland

We were sad to leave Prague. We’d made many friends, and turned the empty gothic hostel quarters into our very own recording studio that brought us such hits as “Daj Pivo” & “Praha Rush hour” {http://www.myspace.com/babciababcia}.

But Kuba’s motherland was calling with an undeniable force of promised Pierogies and Vodka. Getting to Warszawa became so urgent that we exchanged our tickets for a car that would get us there without any bullshit train station stops. A Hostel Miracle :
We woke one early morning expecting nothing more than catching a train. Instead we witnessed a rare, heavenly miracle among all the sleeping youths in the 10 bed hostel dorm. We would like to share this rare opportunity to observe the embodiment of peace.

A couple of saints and a couple of statues, Prague from below and Prague from above

- Culinary experiments with the Czech. Chinese; deep fried lump of something salty

- The strict Polish/Czech border: Local trains are cheaper than National ones. We rode from Krakow to the border, walked across the tightly secured riverbridge into a land of letters and symbols that didn’t exist before. Since we missed our stops, the original plan of a 4 hour trip turned into a 14 hour train station marathon.

- Zahid crossing a field with his new travel partner, an Art & Luthrie 6 string.
